One Killed, One Injured in Riverside Suspected DUI Car Crash

RIVERSIDE – A tragic solo-vehicle accident in Riverside killed a 20-year-old passenger and seriously injured the 18-year-old driver. According pe.com, the driver of a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo was traveling at a high rate of speed on Arlington Avenue west of Fairhaven Drive when he lost control on a curve in the roadway causing the vehicle to rollover several times at about 2:05 a.m. Saturday.
The driver, whose identity was not released, was seriously injured and taken to a hospital for treatment. The driver’s passenger, Jonathan Cuevas of Riverside, was reported to have died in the accident. Preliminary investigation shows the driver was under the influence at the time of the incident.
